Yey For Musical Expansion!
TriumphI noticed a message on one of the school bulletin boards a couple days back about a violin for sale. It seemed like a good deal, $79 for a 2 year old violin, so I emailed the guy and started talking to him about it. Anyways, it ended up being $100 for the violin, bow, case, rosin and shoulder. When I went to pick it up the guy took it out and played it for me so that I knew how it sounds and on a quick check over of it, I only noticed a small scratch in the wood, smalled than the width of my pinky finger. So over all, I'm quite happy.
Later that day (yesterday) I went and got a Violin for Beginners book and started learning from that, and it's going fairly well. It's a bit difficult to play the a string without touching the d string, but I'll get the hang of it.
Well, that's about it for new stuff about me... Quite boring actually.
